Arthritis is certainly the most common cause in middle-aged and older people. It is a disease of unknown cause in which the cartilage gradually disappears. Over time, such joints become painful. Often, patients struggle with pain for a long time and do not decide to undergo surgery. A frequent, albeit wrong, recommendation is that the operation is the last. However, the operation can be delayed, i.e. the operation can be more difficult, longer with more expensive endoprosthesis and longer rehabilitation.
When the pain significantly impairs the quality of everyday life, in terms of limitation of movements, pain arising from sleep, it is time to replace the joint with a prosthesis. Using minimally invasive techniques, we install state-of-the-art endoprostheses from well-known global manufacturers.
On the first day after surgery, our patients walk with crutches. They stay in our hospital for three days, after which they continue their rehabilitation in the spa or on an outpatient basis in their place of residence.
