Instructions for GPs
Primary health care doctors (general practitioners / family doctors) are the key people in any health care system.
As doctors of the first contact, they are responsible for the timely establishment of a working diagnosis, basic radiological diagnostics and the initiation of possible conservative treatment with analgesics.
In case of failure of such treatment, the doctor will usually refer the patient to a Specialist in Physical medicine and Rehabilitation.
If, after appropriate physical therapy, there is no significant reduction of symptoms, the doctor will refer the patient to an orthopedic surgeon for an opinion about possible surgical treatment.
In case of untimely reaction, the patient can get lost in excessive and unnecessary physical therapy, when in fact the only effective treatment is surgial.

We are located in the Aksis Special Hospital in Prečko, on the 8th floor of the business center, at crossing between Petrovaradinska Street and Ljubljanjska Avenue. We are accessible by tram lines 5 and 17 from Petrovaradinska station.
