Doctor, my shoulder hurts and I can't sleep on that side?

post.update-date

Pain in the shoulder or periarthritis humeroscapularis is a frequent, but imprecise diagnosis in the clinic of primary care doctors and specialist physiatrists. In orthopedics, we strive to accurately diagnose and treat disease. After an orthopedic examination and a detailed analysis of X-rays and ultrasound, possibly also magnetic resonance, we arrive at an accurate diagnosis. The patient then receives clear information and instructions about his illness.

rotator cuff calcificates - X ray

It is most often an acute inflammation of the tendons of the rotator cuff. Sometimes the cause of shoulder pain is chronic inflammation with the appearance of calcifications.

supraspinatus tendon rupture - MRI

In case of inadequate treatment, the tendon may rupture. If conservative treatment fails, we decide on surgery.

shoulder arthrosis - X ray

If the tendon does not return to its place in time, arthrosis occurs, which is treated exclusively by implanting an endoprosthesis. Today, all operations, except for the treatment of arthrosis, are performed arthroscopically, that is, with the use of a camera through several small incisions of up to 1 cm.

The patient goes home the same or the next day.
